THERE IS HOPE

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)

Everyone faces troubles in life. Job said, “man is born to troubles as the sparks fly upwards” (Job 5:7). There are seasons of sorrow, difficulty, illness, and pain. Some of those seasons are created by the decisions of others and some are created by our own decisions. Whatever you are facing, you don’t have to face it alone.

First Baptist Church is committed to praying for, encouraging, and offering biblical solutions to those who are struggling, feeling hopeless, or suffering. We want to help you navigate the difficulties of life.

Biblical Counseling

First Baptist Church offers biblical counseling to both members and non-members. If you are finding yourself stuck, overwhelmed by anxiety, grieving over a loss, trying to make a hard decision, overcome by fears, struggling through a difficult season of marriage, or any other significant hardship, come and speak with a biblical counselor who will walk with you during your trial and help point you to the Wonderful Counselor (Isaiah 9:6) who is with you and will never forsake you.

Prayer Requests

Every week the members of First Baptist Church pray for your prayer requests. There are three ways to communicate your prayer request to us:

In Person

Every Sunday there is an opportunity at the end of the service to come forward and meet with a member of our care team for prayer.

In Writing

Write your prayer request on the information card found in the weekly bulletin and place it in the offering plate or give it to one of our ushers.

Electronically

Submit your prayer request using the form below.
